You can now fill out the 24/25 FAFSA.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the form you need to fill out to get any financial aid from the federal government to help pay for college or career schools. More than 13 million students who file the FAFSA each year get more than $120 billion in grants, work-study, and low-interest loans from the U.S. Department of Education.

I don’t know if I want to go to college. I want to take a year off.

You still want to fill out the free FAFSA form! If you change your mind, you will need to wait until next year. That is a long time if you decide to take some college courses or go to trade school.

This looks difficult. I cannot do this.

BUT you CAN. Please review all the information provided to you and talk to your HVAM counselor. They’re here to help you.
